Root any Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Root the Android! 4.0 and 4.1

So here is my another post for android users and this might be the best one for you.The title says it all. Today i will be telling you how to root any android device running 4.0 ice cream Sandwich or android 4.1 Jelly bean.Be  it any device you can root your device via this method! So hold on your breath guys 🙂

PRECAUTION-I would like to emphasize that if you don’t know or understand the risks of rooting your device, please don’t do it. You’re going to have to follow through and there is always a risk of bricking your device, rendering it useless.

here’s what XDA Recognized Developer Bin4ary, the script’s creator, has to say about it:

I made a small script which is able to root ICS/JB phones. It uses a remount timing issue in Androids “adb restore” service.
So normally it should work on nearly all ICS/JB devices, for some it won’t but the idea may work in a slightly modded version

There is a special case for Xperia T and Xperia S,P etc. phones, this phones run ICS but don’t have android’s native restore with adb, Sony has added a own custom “Backup&Restore” app, the script handles this cases too, just choose the correct option!

ROOT NOw! with Guide

1. download the script

2.extract it with your favorite tool

3.execute the RunMe.bat file

4.follow the instructions it gives you

The script is currently at version 3.0. Fortunately, Bin4ary is updating it with support for outlier devices that can’t be rooted in the way outlined above. If you’re willing to give it a shot, I would recommend reporting in the thread if your phone or tablet was rooted successfully  or not
